100% Swiss Made Manufacturing in the Heart of Ticino
After years of passion and development, EDL SKI is taking a major step forward with the opening of its own production facility, EDL SKI Swiss Factory, in the heart of Ticino, Switzerland. Every ski now takes shape locally, in accordance with the highest manufacturing standards.
This new factory marks the transition to 100% Swiss Made production, fully controlled by the brand from design through to manufacturing. It is designed to reach a production capacity of nearly 5,000 pairs of skis per year, with the ambition of developing an entirely new range created with precision and uncompromising standards.
EDL SKI is a skiing experience driven by high-end craftsmanship and a committed vision for the future of skiing — now made entirely on Swiss soil, from start to finish.
EDL SKI is a Swiss brand dedicated to ski enthusiasts, combining craftsmanship with a deep-rooted mountain culture. Its founders, each with more than thirty years of experience in ski design, manufacturing, graphic design, consulting and sales, have brought their expertise together to create high-end skis designed for skiers of all levels and, above all, for the pure pleasure of skiing.
From the very beginning of our journey, we wanted to highlight our Swiss roots by featuring the Alps. On our skis, they are seen from Villars–Les Diablerets, our home base and a place close to our hearts.
The edelweiss – also known as the star of the glaciers, the symbolic flower of our mountains – gave us our name. It became EDL Weiss, Black, Cobalt, Red, Blue, Topaze, Green, Yellow, Lemon and Carbon.

THE TEAM
Creative partners for many years, one sells skis while the other designs them. The first is constantly buzzing with ideas: “Design me some skis. They’ll be called Edelweiss!” The second makes a correction: the brand will be called EDL, and the logo will be an EDL Weiss!
And so began an utterly crazy, yet wildly exciting adventure. With one single goal: to create exclusive, high-performance and beautiful skis.
Francis, the Technician
Outgoing, imaginative, talkative and passionate. Winter sports are his domain. For more than thirty years, he has been discovering, testing, analysing, advising, proposing, sharpening and waxing — relentlessly.
He shapes and guides the collection.
Vincent, the Designer
A graphic designer from the very beginning, he creates brand identities, watch dials, boats and snowboards, shapes brand stories, catalogues and communication campaigns — and even designs skis.
He manages design, communications and administration.
